Hysucat at the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Following the New York regatta, Hysucat will also attend the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Chicago 10-12 June with four 8.5 RIB chase-boats to follow the foiling, wing-sailed AC45 catamarans on the course. During the New York event five Hysucat support vessels were used to provide the ‘Guest Chaser Experience’ for the AC VIPs, and chase behind the America’s Cup teams as they raced around the course, as well as to support ACEA (America’s Cup Event Authority) team members, including 5 times America’s Cup champion & CEO of the America’s Cup, Russell Coutts. Race officials chose the Hysucat over other RIB’s because the Hysucat is able to keep up with the catamarans in heavy chop while still giving a comfortable, safe ride that leaves little wake.
